60 Minutes with Anna Wintour

So I was online doing my daily views of my youtube subscriptions and came across this awesome video with Anna Wintour. It is her interview with 60 minutes. I couldn't help but giggle while watching thinking about Jimmy, a good friend of mine who claims Anna Wintour is his mother and continuously strives to take her place one day.

Any who, the interview was from back in May. So if you missed it here is your chance to view it!

Check out the video clip of the interview below!

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." -Marilyn Monroe

You can see in the first picture that the straps have a bow in the back. It doesn’t come like that. When I ordered my romper and tried it on the straps were very long like it was made for tall people and it does not adjust. So I cut it and tied it into a bow on both sides. Plus it kind of adds something extra to it! :0)

Love it, Love it, Love it!

5 Rules For A Womans Purse

1. "Your Bag Needs To Match Your Body Type"
If you are small, you need to wear a smaller kind of bag. If you are a bigger woman, then you would look better and would be able to rock a bigger bag very well ;)

2. "Know What To Carry In Your Bag"
Make sure that at all times you carry the appropriate things in your bag. You never know what you may need or when you may need it. (watch my "What's In My Purse" video below) to find out some of the things you NEED to carry at all times.

(watch video below)

3. "You Do Not Always Need To Match Your Bag"
You don't always need to be so matchy-matchy with your purse. You purse does not need to match your shoes, your shirt, your accessories, or your hair scrunchy. That way too much!! Tone it down! You DO NOT HAVE TO MATCH YOUR PURSE.

4. "Build Your Purse Collection with a Variety of Colors"
Don't feel like you have to have all black bags. Even though a black bag goes with everything, a pop of color won't hurt. (Again, go back to the video above)

5. " Care For Your Bags"
Take very good care of your bags because that will make them last longer. If your purse comes with a dust bag or a large box (which most do), USE THEM! They give it to you for a reason. It helps to keep dust away! (more in the video above)

How to Put an Outfit Together

If you are trying to put together the perfect outfit, make sure you consider the occasion because you don’t want to be over dressed or look to formal and make sure you know what styles fit your body type best. Feel free to look in fashion magazines as well to help you gain some inspiration.

If you pretty much have in mind what you are looking for, an easy way to stay on track is to make a list of what you want so that way you stay focused and only shop for what you need. (Some of us go into a store shopping for a dress and walk out with an entire outfit! So try and stay on track. Plus it will help you same some $$)

When you go shopping remember to always try your clothes on. It is the most important part of putting an outfit together because you need to make sure that all of your clothes fit appropriately and that they are the right size, compliment your shape and doesn’t hide your shape. Show it off! Also be sure to do your shopping when you have quite a bit of time on your hands. If you rush your shopping then it could turn into a big disaster so you want to take your time with decision making for all of your outfits.

Most people when they shop for an outfit they forget all about shoes. Usually, the shoes are the last thing that people focus on but be careful when doing that. To be safe, look around and consider some options for shoes and you go around getting your outfit together. You don’t want to have the perfect outfits with the wrong shoes (just because you forgot to pick some up or the fact that it slipped your mind) don’t make getting shoes your last priority it is just as important as everything else that you are shopping for.

The important part to finish off you outfit is to add the perfect accessories, whether it’s a hat, belt, a purse, earrings, a necklace or anything. The accessories you use can either make or break your outfit. You can have too much going on or not enough. Make sure that it’s the right amount. If you are wearing something with a lot of bling all over or around the neckline, make sure you do a simple necklace or no necklace at all and then include dangling earrings (or studs) and a nice bracelet.

That’s all you need. Just make sure that you go through everything and consider every part of your outfit because that is what’s going to make it fabulous! Also, the day of getting dressed up into you outfit, allow yourself enough time to prepare and get ready. It is important to not rush into the outfit that you spent so much time putting together so you are sure to look your best! =)
